Oh my... if it isn't bad enough that I'm forever taking pictures of my kids, NOW we have a puppy!
Sheba is a Guide Dog puppy so only with us for around 14 months. Indeed, she has a little heart murmur that if it doesn't fix itself, means she will leave us after just one month as there will be no way for her to be a guide dog. Clearly, we hope that's not the case and that the boundless love we are giving her will fix her heart!
Either ways, we will enjoy every second with her! Then get another to cure our broken hearts!! ha ha!
Enjoy!
Welcome to our little blog - a space to share our adventures through photography and words x

Happy Easter everyone!!

Miss M on Band Camp!
Another opportunity that yr3 gives our school kids is the chance to join the school band!
And joining the school band means Band Camp! 2 nights away with 100+ kids playing music (with various levels of skill!!) and doing awesome outdoor activities... to help them sleep at night!
Suffice it to say, night one equalled little sleep... night two, exhausted!!
Miss M is playing flute and the weekend culminated in a concert and Miss M's junior band's first public appearance, playing Hot Cross Buns, Jingle Bells and Au Claire De Le Lune - 3 tunes predominantly focused on 3 notes! ha ha ha!
Great Job Miss M xx

** Swim Star **
Miss M is a swimming sensation! The school have an annual swim carnival for yr3 & above, so this was Miss M's first carnival, first race and first time in a 50m pool! AND SHE WON! ha ha ha! Swimming lessons? Who needs 'em?!
Her win resulted in an invite to represent the school at Zone carnival - at Sydney Aquatic Centre, home of the OLYMPICS! Now, this probably meant more in terms of location to Mama & Captain A but Megan was thrilled to spend the day with a range of peers and an awesome teacher!
AND! She won her heat! Miss M was in the third heat of the 8yr olds and swam like a legend!
WELL DONE gorgeous child!

At 6am!
Blue Mountains
Miss M had a school project to do which involves creating a brochure for a landmark in Australia - she had chosen to do the Blue Mountains, which are about 2 hrs west of our place so we figured it would be a great idea to visit them.
Miss M was pretty lucky really as some kids chose landmarks in Western Australia - takes 6 hours to fly there!!

NITS!
... and not the hair variety!
YAY YAY YAY! Mr Nick Dynan has arrived in Australia in Feb! We are SO excited to have him 'nearer' and to be his local family! The girls were beyond excitement with his arrival ... and felt pretty hollow when he swirled out of town to party-centrale, Melbourne! We can't wait until he comes back! :D
